oted in artisanal optic design, the revolutionary 3D printed frames from optical icon Edward Beiner fuse the latest materials, technology and Eyewear design to bring a unique product to market with 12 styles and a variety of color options. The 3D printed line is the first to launch under the company’s new Eyes Forward campaign, which focuses on cutting-edge practices and innovation while retaining the ingenuity and artistry that have been heavily rooted in the origins of the Eyewear business. Each frame is handmade in France, colored in Germany, fixated with titanium temples from Japan and assembled in Oyonnax, France — one of the original power players in the optical business. “When deciding to incorporate 3D printing into the Eyewear design process, we went to the corner of new tech and innovation while still creating an authentic and artisanal product,” says Beiner, who operates nearly a dozen optical boutiques throughout Florida. “Glasses are the first thing that people see when they look at you and something that you spend so much of your time wearing — so it’s important to be able to find a style that you’re proud to show off without sacrificing comfort.” Each style in the 3D printed Eyewear series can be purchased for $390. Custom colors range from $800 to $1,000. The frames are lightweight, hypoallergenic and counter balanced to prevent them from sliding during use; EdwardBeiner.com.
